"The Ladies of the House"

     "Groomrooms Candi Kiss"

Miss Candi is a very sweet little girl. When she came here at 10 wks old we had a litter of puppies a little younger. She would go amongst them and drag the biggest one out by the back leg and try to play. That is when she decided she was the boss. She is very affectionate with us but has her moments when she can be a bully.

Miss Coquette is a beauty, she loves the puppies and keeping them in line. Always letting them know how far they can go and what is too far. She is not mean, just firm. She is also a very good mom.

Miss Poppy is the only one of the bunch yet to have a litter of her own. Hopefully her and Baron will get together soon and we will have our first litter of reds.

Poppy can be very silly. She Coquette and Lacey share our king size bed with us. Poppy imediatley goes into this big silly production , it  is very difficult to describe. But she does it every night before the light goes out.

First, it involves ear kissing, throwing her head back and rolling in the blankets. When you tell her she is being silly she really gets into it. It is so sweet and of course if we told another dog that they are being silly, well, she gets pissed. That is her word, we can only use it to describe her bedtime behavior. She will pout and ignore us for saying that to anyone else.

Then of course, there is Fancy.  She knows she is special. Lacey poured out all over again.  Very sweet personality. Loves cuddles.

Fancy is so much like Lacey that sometimes, I will look at Fancy call her thinking it is Lacey, she doesn't come so I don't know what is happening until Lacey hears her name and comes to me.

The little red girl is from Oklahoma. Have been looking for a little red girl for more than 2yrs and finally found her. She is a sweetie and loves to cuddle.

The last little brown girl is out of Johnas and Coquette. She is adorable and takes after her daddy big time. her gait is beautiful. A bit of a handful but she is still a puppy.

                                                                                                        "Groomroom's Fancy Pants"

We love all of our girls and they are all different with personalities and mannerisms. I have described a little bit about each of our girls below. There is much more to say about them but I could go on forever...

Miss Candi

The girls all get their turns to come and help me feed the horses. Everyone enjoys it. The only one that I have to really keep an eye on is Candi. She is the same color as the ground and knows she is camouflaged so I can't see her. She will stand there very still, I can call and call her until she realizes that I can actually see her then she can't get to me fast enough. Poodles are sooooo intelligent!!!

              Miss Jazmine

 Contessa of Twin Halls

Has arrived from Muncie Indiana and she is gorgeous. Had a very long trip but has been settling down with every day that passes. She looks just like Coquette only black which is a good thing. She is 2yrs old so old enough to be bred and the first of her suitors will be Johnas. I am really looking forward to that then another breeding would be looking forward to is of course Nathan. I am sure he is too :) Thank you Peggy and David for all you went through to get her here to us. She is beautiful and you need not worry about her, she will be loved and taken very good care of.

Our new little red girl for Baron

She is a sister from another mother to Gretchen and we are excited. She will be arriving from Tulsa Oklahoma after Christmas and I guess our Christmas Gift to each other.

I am soooooo excited!!! Thank you so much Henny for letting me know about this little sweetheart, we can hardly wait to see her. I feel like a little girl on Christmas morning.

Since the loss of our sweet Lola We felt we should add another black for Nathan, so in comes  Miss Tess. Very sweet although she is pushing her weight around with some of the other girls like Gretchen to see if she can get higher on that totem. It isn't too bad yet but Neil is keeping his eyes open so nobody gets the best of anybody while he is standing watch :) or there maybe problems when I come home on days off.

Now I can not go by without mentioning the newest addition to our growing family of furry friends without mentioning the little girl in the last photo here. I had just been sitting here minding my own business and get an email from a breeder that I know. She said she had 4 red girls and one of them I just might be interested in. Soooo, now just after Christmas there is a new little girl coming to live with us and will grow to eventually be Baron's new Girlfriend along with Gretchen. Don't have a name picked out yet, but we are working on it :)
